A young woman, Paula Laukkanen, was harassed by an unknown man on the bus, who then fled.
Clues and witnesses
Paula Laukkanen, the victim: "I was riding the bus to work, not bothering anyone, minding my own business. Then an Asian man wearing glasses started moving all around me. I stayed silent – we were packed in pretty close. It was rush hour, after all. Then he leaned the handle of his umbrella onto my chest and began to slowly move it up and down. I just silently pushed it away, but I guess I should have said something. Then the monster decided he could do whatever he liked, and stuck his hand under my dress. It was so sudden – and disgusting! I even forgot I had pepper spray in my bag – I just cried out and pushed him off of me. He immediately jumped out of the bus before the other passengers could help me. He was in such a hurry that he left his umbrella. The creep was lucky we were standing at a bus stop!"
Stanislav Belousov, passenger: "I got on the bus at the terminal, and of course I noticed when the little slut floated in. All made up and perfumed, wearing a short dress. Might as well wear a sign around her neck saying "fuck me". She's the guilty one – likes to provoke men, even in the morning when I'm at my horniest! Then the trollop decides she'll start a fight! What kind of decent woman goes to work looking like that? Unless she works someplace very special…"
Aidan Thorpe, bus driver: "I heard a woman screaming in the cab: 'Get your hands off me, you creep!' Then right away a man in a sweater jumped off the bus and ran into the alley. Too bad I didn't have a chance to close the door – I would have punched that little pervert's ticket right then and there!"
Sheng Hsu: He works as a driver, and is taking correspondence cources towards his second degree from the Cultural Studies department.
Suburb: Sheng Hsu lives with his deaf grandmother in a tiny house.
