Laura Boyd is Jack Boyd's wife during the events of This Is The Police.
History[]
Laura married Jack Boyd and had three sons with him some time prior to 1985. She has a habit of forgetting her keys and treating visitors to her home, such as Jehovah's Witnesses, kindly despite not being religious herself. Around June 1985, she decided to have an affair with a much younger man and left her family without so much as saying goodbye. Due to her sudden disappearance as well as the fact her lover is young enough to be her son, their three sons as well as Laura's mother Sally Markham supported Jack during the affair. Sally decided to track down Laura and try to reason with her, and made a pact with Jack to help him arrange a meeting with Laura.[1]
